Redline Bike Colorways & Graphics

Professional Statement: Tasked with revitalizing Redline after a one-year hiatus following its prominent presence at the 2016 Olympics, my role involved extensive research into colorway and graphic trends within the sporting and outdoors industries. Collaborating closely with the Product team and Creative Director Evan Moss, I undertook the responsibility to develop and forecast colorway and graphic packages for Redline’s Race and Street categories in 2018, aiming to reestablish its prominence in the BMX industry.

Challenges Addressed: The primary challenge was to resurrect Redline’s relevance in the BMX industry after a period of dormancy. Leveraging support from the Accell Group, I spearheaded the initiative to breathe new life into the brand by crafting innovative colorway and graphic packages.

Goals: The overarching goal was to position Redline as a contemporary force within the BMX industry by introducing forward-thinking colorway and graphic bike lines, aligning with current trends and consumer preferences.

Innovative Approach: The unique solution involved a proactive and rapid production process, generating a diverse array of colorways and graphics. Recognizing the importance of extensive options for evaluation and discussion, I engaged in collaborative discussions, sought advice, and navigated the iterative process to arrive at the final presentations, ensuring that Redline’s new offerings were not only cutting-edge but also resonated effectively with the target audience.
